Mission Statement

Policy Tree is a reference guide for U.S. policy debate, useful to people of all ideological persuasions. Using an innovative, web-based layout, Policy Tree helps to navigate the complex media landscape by combining the spectrum of political perspectives into a single, comprehensive resource. The goal of Policy Tree is to expose the public to a large variety of viewpoints on U.S. policy issues, thus better informing their decisions and increasing participation in our political process.
Policy Tree hopes to become an influential reference tool, the first place one turns when confused by an obscure policy discussion they hear in a debate, or when they want to catch up on a political issue that’s been in the news for months. A widely acknowledged reference tool that relies on logic will quickly draw attention to poor arguments and possibly influence politicians to speak to us more truthfully.
