Drawing Additional Lines

You might want to draw a new line in order to:

• Have a leaf serve as a reply to more than one parent leaf
• Move a leaf to a different parent
• In general, represent more complex relationships

Of course, green lines mean the child supports the parent, and red lines mean the child refutes the parent.

How to draw a new line

1. Click on the parent leaf
2. Click on one of the “Draw Line” links in the More options for this leaf section.
3. Click on the destination leaf.

The chart will reload with your new line.

NOTE: You must have a user level of “Trusted” to draw lines.
